Rebellion Press ("we," "us," or "our") operates the websites at rebellion.press and its subdomains, including the prompt wizard applications available at those subdomains. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you purchase a product through one of our prompt wizard applications, we collect the following through Stripe's checkout process:
- Your email address
- Your name and billing address (collected by Stripe for payment processing)
When you use a prompt wizard, you enter story details, creative answers, and other information relevant to the prompt being generated. This content is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your custom prompt and is not stored by us.
We do not use tracking cookies on our sites.
How We Use Your Information
- To process your payment and confirm your purchase via Stripe
- To deliver your purchased prompt files by email
- To send transactional email related to your order (no marketing email)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
Our applications rely on the following third-party services to operate:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs any data you submit at checkout.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI prompt generation. Your wizard answers are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your prompt. Anthropic's privacy policy governs that data.
- Zeptomail — transactional email delivery for order confirmations and prompt delivery.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and edge delivery. Cloudflare may process request metadata as part of normal operation.
- Supabase — secure backend and storage for the Still Here — Mind & Body Focus app only. Supabase stores that app's account data and journal entries. It is not used by our prompt wizard applications.
- Apple App Store & Google Play Store — in-app purchase processing for Still Here — Mind & Body Focus subscriptions. Your payment card details are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
Still Here — Mind & Body Focus
Still Here — Mind & Body Focus is a journaling and mental-wellness app in the Rebellion Press ecosystem. It delivers a weekly letter and a "survival prompt." Core content is free to use, and a subscription unlocks full access to all content. This section explains what the app collects and how that information is handled.
When you use Still Here, we collect:
- Your email address — used to deliver the weekly letters and survival prompts, and to secure your account.
- The journal entries, reflections, and responses to prompts that you choose to write and save. This content may include sensitive personal information about your mental health, grief, or wellbeing.
Your journal entries and account data are stored using Supabase, a secure backend infrastructure provider.
Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Core content in Still Here is free. Unlocking full access to all content requires a subscription, which is purchased as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Those subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google — the app does not receive, process, or store your payment card details. We only receive confirmation that a purchase or subscription was completed so that the app can unlock the relevant content.
Your Writing Is Private
The content you write in Still Here is treated as personal and confidential. We do not sell, share, or use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train any product. We do not access your writing except where necessary to provide, secure, or troubleshoot the service, or where required by law. You can request deletion of your entries and account at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Emails We Send
Still Here sends two kinds of email, and it is important to understand the difference:
- Service emails — the weekly letters, the survival prompts, and account or security messages. These are core to using the app and are not marketing. You receive them as part of having an account.
- Announcement emails — optional updates about new apps, features, and updates. You can opt out of these at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us.
Opting out of announcement emails does not stop the service emails your account needs to receive.
Intended for Adults
Still Here addresses topics such as grief and mental wellbeing and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Retention
We retain your email address only as long as necessary to support your purchase and for any legally required record-keeping. We do not retain the creative content you enter into our wizards beyond the duration of your session.
For Still Here — Mind & Body Focus, your journal entries, reflections, prompt responses, and account data are retained until you delete them or close or delete your account. When you delete an entry, that entry is removed. When you delete your account, your entries and account data are removed from Supabase. You can request deletion at any time, as described in Your Writing Is Private above.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
